IND vs NZ 2021 : Rohit Sharma Slaps Mohammed Siraj In The Dugout

A new era in Indian men’s cricket started on Thursday, November 17, 2021. With Rahul Dravid taking over as the head coach in a full-time capacity and Rohit Sharma taking the role of the T20I captain, the start was quite good.

Meanwhile a hilarious video of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and his teammate Mohammed Siraj is doing rounds on various social media platforms since last night when India faced New Zealand in the first T20I match in Jaipur. In the video, Rohit, Siraj, and KL Rahul can be seen sitting together in the dugout, a row behind the newly-appointed head coach Rahul Dravid.

The trio was staring at something on their left before Rahul turned his head to Rohit Sharma, who quickly hit the paceman sitting in front of him. Siraj was seen smiling at that, indicating at perhaps a funny joke between them. By looking at the clip, we can assume that it was all banter and nothing serious was part of the conversation. The video was quick to attract netizens.

Speaking about the match New Zealand was put in to bat first by Rohit Sharma they managed to score 165 runs in their 20 overs. However, India managed to chase down the target of 165 with 5 wickets and two balls to spare, taking a 1-0 lead in the 3 match T20 series.
